Required for January 2025 – Assistant Headteacher 0.8 FTE L1-L5
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Headtecaher to join our school in January. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an experienced and committed SLT in a three form entry federation.
You would be responsible for:
- Leading the foundation curriculum and supporting subject leaders
- Being the link SLT for two year groups, leading appraisals, pupil progress and safeguarding
- Working on planning and delivering the pupil premium strategy in conjunction with the Inclusion lead
- Undertaking the role of alternate DSL
- Strategic leadership with the SLT and driving improvement in line with the SDIP and current priorities
- Ensuring opportunities for SEND children contribute to their progress and development and individual needs in conjunction with the SENCO for your link year groups
- Working with the SLT on planning and delivering the new SEMH SRB due to open in September 2025
- Working with, supporting staff and also giving professional challenge when required
We are looking for someone with the experience, drive and commitment to work with us to build on our successes and ensure our children have the best care and education possible.
This is primarily a non teaching role, but some teaching may be required as part of the role. However, there is currently no timetabled commitment.
